Rust Prevention - Update on the restoration projects:

1. Had the stock steel wheels stripped of paint and bondo, sanded, coated with anti-rush enamel, and repainted with a chrome finish acrylic paint...it does look better than the stock silver finish.

2. Had the trunk coated with anti-rust enamel also and repainted flat black.

3. Retouched paint on the body to prevent water from entering the chipped paint...it doesn't look as bad as it sounds :)

4. Cleaned carburetor assembly and fuel filter (been using Shell's V-Power fuel and so far so good).

5. Coated front and rear bumpers and overiders with anti-rust enamel and chrome finish spray paint...new nuts and bolts also.

6. Had the brake and clutch fluid flushed and the lines cleaned with carburetor spray (used Prestone DOT3 brake fluid to fill-up the brake and clutch reservoir).

7. Balanced all wheels at Autosport after repainting.

8. Reconverted the one steel wheel that had an inner tire tube to tubeless (had another hole drilled and machined...new valve stem also).

9. Removed reverse light since it wasn't hooked-up anyway and it added weight at the rear.
