Achilles Platinum Tires

I just bought brand new 175/65/R14 Achilles Platinum tires to replace the worn out Goodyear NCT5 tires fitted in the Fairlady. I've read good reviews on these tires for both wet and dry conditions

Achilles Platinum tires fitted to the Fairlady. Looks great as well.
Brand new tires finally! I also had the new tires balanced.

Achilles Platinum has sidewall protection for the rims
82H speed and load rating (210kph/460kg)
The tread pattern is asymmetric for better water channeling and grip
Good tire ratings especially its AA traction rating and 420 treadwear
Seems to be a good design considering that it costs less than P2,000!

First impressions were the steering definitely is way lighter and more responsive. I thought the steering box was really worn, but after driving with the new tires the steering response improved and the steering play felt way less than before. I'm looking forward to using these tires on the track!

Next up is alignment and camber for the front tires. My planned settings are from Gordon Glasgow's website specifically for Datsun Roadsters:

1 degree negative camber
2 to 3 degrees positive caster
1/16 to 1/8" toe-in
